De band gooiden de elektrische instrumenten aan de kant en maakte ruimte voor een akoestische zachtheid. The Scratch bracht in 2020 het zelf het album ‘Couln't Give a Rats’ uit. In het vroege stadium van 2023 kwam de opmerkelijke single ‘Trom II- A Slip in the Wind’ uit, die de toon zette voor een kansrijke toekomst voor de band.
