Beïnvloed door grootheden als Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix en The Allman Brothers. Na als zes-jarige een optreden van Hendrix op tv te hebben gezien, wist Sas het zeker: hij moest en zou gitaar leren spelen. En hoe! Inmiddels is hij uitgegroeid tot een van de grootste bluesartiesten die Nederland ooit heeft voortgebracht, en buiten de Nederlandse grenzen wist door te breken.
